About Leslie

LeslieHS1The truth is that I love being a lawyer. That’s not to say that it’s easy, but I find great reward in helping people and families find solutions to their problems. It’s not anyone’s best day when they come in to see their attorney. I know that. But I do everything in my power to make my client’s experience go as smoothly as possible.

I love being a lawyer even more-so now that I live and practice in Northwest Arkansas. I found a home practicing law with Billy Bob Webb in Springdale. Billy Bob’s jovial attitude about life makes practicing law a lot more fun. But the truth is that he really cares about his clients and I learn so much from him every day.

I’m originally from the “big city” of Little Rock, a Mount Saint Mary Academy honors graduate. I went on to graduate cum laude from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, majoring in philosophy and political science. I married my husband, Aaron, while attending law school at the University of Arkansas William H. Bowen School of Law. I was an active law student, graduating with honors and as the recipient of the Pulaski County
Bar Association President’s Award. While lesliehs2_fsin law school, I clerked for Little Rock District Court Judge Alice Lightle, who remains my close friend to this day, and I wrote an
extensive published work called the Arkansas Circuit Court Judges’ Benchbooks, which you can find free and available on the Arkansas Judiciary’s website. Before practicing with Billy Bob, I practiced law at Wells Law Firm in Little Rock and Howerton Law Firm in
Fayetteville.

I created this blog to bring relevant and interesting legal information to my clients, colleagues and the general public.  If you would like to speak to an attorney about your individual case, you can contact me at 479.751.9100 or lesliecopelandlaw@gmail.com. Thank you for looking, and enjoy!
